Parenting for families in transition

This parenting workshop is created to promote a healthy transition of families and their healthy parenting practices in culturally and spiritually diverse society. The main purpose of the sessions is to enhance parents’ awareness, knowledge, and skills about the parenting practices in their transitional stage as a family. The group sessions with parents will provide tools, and emotional support while aiming to develop positive parenting skills and strategies to strengthen the integration process for the entire family.

2.5 hours x 4 weeks

Therapeutic Parenting

This workshop is designed to train parent/s and caregiver/s to build a therapeutic relationship with their children. Parents will explore the foundations of healthy relationship in their family from various therapeutic approaches. The sessions will provide practical parenting skills and coping strategies in the light of the most effective therapeutic interventions.

2.5 hours x4 weeks

Parenting Teenagers

This workshop is filled with insights, skills, and strategies about how any caring and responsive adult can make a difference in the life of a teenager. The sessions aim to promote positive practical ways to raise and guide happy and healthy teenagers. This workshop will help parents explore the secrets of the teenager brain and the characteristics of teens. Parents will be encouraged to develop awareness on their parenting styles, strategies, expectations, strengths, and unique challenges while parenting their teens.
